I had the oil changed for my 5,000 check before I went to Florida. Did not drive my car much while there. When I got back to Murphy I started hearing a lite tapping upon starting my car, I didn’t think much of it since after it warmed up I didn’t notice it, after being home a few days I drove to town with my granddaughter and the tapping was getting louder upon acceleration and started hearing a knocking noise, I turned around and drove back home and parked it. The next morning I referred to my owners manual to check the oil and to my surprise no oil registered on the dip stick. I called Kia spoke to gene and told him I had no oil and I thought that when I last had oil change at Kia they must not have put enough oil back in because I had to put 3 quarts in it. I have never had any oil issues with any of my 3 Kia’s I’ve bought from there, I have no leaks, no smoke coming out. Since putting in the 3 quarts I’ve checked it every day and the oil stick has not changed still says it’s full. Gene put an oil consumption seal on it today to see where the oil is going but I know it has to be service man error of not putting the right amount of oil back in. I was having no trouble of “using” oil before til this time. He said it’s normal to lose a quart of oil between oil changes if that’s true then why was it 3 quarts low and not just 1? I want to know where that quart of oil goes let alone 3 quarts. He said we should know more after the test but I’m pretty certain that not enough oil was put back in. No problems after the oil change prior to the last one.

Samuel Norris has been a life saver. I've had to go several times to get my air looked at and he has let me come in super early before they get too busy. He is always quick to get me in and keeps me updated on what's going on. Your team has been speedy with the whole process...made it so much easier. I bought a Toyota right across the road and I dreaded going to their service department because it was an all day ordeal. Not here...thank you.
