Michael Connelly is just about the worst service representative I've ever come across. He is very disrespectful and talks down to not only customers but also to his fellow colleagues. His lack of soft skills and automotive knowledge makes him a terrible fit for the face representing the service desk. I had a simple request to have a drive cycle run to set a fuel system monitor that would otherwise fail a smog test. Instead of actually doing the Kia Sportage specific drive cycle to ensure all monitors were set he just handed me a blank paperwork zero information regarding the 35 point inspection they had supposedly done and a note to drive the car more. Anyone who knows anything about smog readiness monitors knows it doesn't matter how long you drive a car since each one has it's specific drive cycle needed to complete each monitor. Plus his hate for darker races was very known to the customer before me who was African American and then to me for being Mexican but he sure chippered up when a white person was next

Went in because was feeling some issues which coincided what I researched as Transmission issues. But because there was no Engine Light on and supposedly nothing popped up on the diagnostic they said it was fine. I got my vehicle back and I still felt the issue,shift delay,jumping during acceleration and now a slight shake of the steering wheel. I guess Kia wants me to exceed the warranty miles and or make my car light up the Engine Light.

The vehicle was fine, thank you. However, the person that helped us was very prickly. He really set my husband off. I had to dial down the temp. He was somewhat confrontational. The manager I believe (a tall man) left him there while he was on a ridiculous conversation with I believe a customer and left us standing there for about 10 minutes. My husband asked a salesman to find the manager to help us so we could leave. This was all around bad customer service, that all starts at the top.
