I was instructed to come in regarding a recall in which I came in and dropped my car off. Nothing was wrong with it. I received a call from the service person, Scott that my antenna was not on my car and that this was a problem with a lot of the Kia Optima. He then advise me that he could order the part for me to replace my antenna for a little over $500. Of course, I declined.
Nothing is wrong with my antenna. My radio plays great. It appears the cover was removed after my car came in for service so an additional charge would be paid. Very disappointed in Kia servicing. I knew that my antenna cover was on because that’s very noticeable. My daughter trailed me to the shop and it was not missing. I will never take my car in for services at Kia again.

It was my first service after I bought the car. I was a little hesitant, as the last dealership that I dealt with were HORRIBLE. But I came in, gave them my keys, and they took care of everything, including a nail in my tire, within about an hour and a half. Everyone was INCREDIBLY polite and didn’t **** me. I had my oil changed today (7/20/2019) at West Hills Kia.
I drove the car home with no problems. My wife and I used the car to go to the movies. During our drive home we noticed an unusual vibration noise, when accelerating. I pulled over and noticed an oil leak. I checked the oil dipstick and no oil was registering on the dipstick. It also appears that oil has been spraying in the engine compartment. Looks like something was not tightened correctly!!
I am waiting for a tow truck now 9:15pm (7/20/2019).
I will be calling the service department Monday morning. Please make room in your schedule on Monday (7/22/2019) to resolve this problem!! The Car will be towed to West Hills Kia on Monday.
