I give Ricardo a flat 0 if you want me to rate him. He was unprofessional and unfriendly! I was disappointed, wait, it’s more of disgusted I felt treated like crap!! Look, I always take my car to get service at your place eventhough we all know you guys charge more compare somewhere else, but I still take my car to you cause I know your employees are professionals and helpful and friendly! Excellent customer service! However, yesterday was the very first time that I didn’t feel the same. It was more of a nightmare. When he told me there’s more things that my car needs, I told him I don’t have time to get it done cause I’m pressed with time cause I have work in Costa Mesa after my car get service, but I asked how much for the other service will be, he said $790+ . So I said, that’s a lot of money! He replied with a serious face but never once looked at me and said, “your car breaks, you’ll pay $4500 to fix!” I was floored! I never ezxpecr that kind of reply! I was confused, felt belittled, felt bad…felt very negative feeling! No one ever threatened me at Honda! No one had ever made me feel that way, no compassion for your customers? He was a JERK to me. He didn’t even mentioned the payment plan to me (which I knew of). Then when my car was finished, he call me with his very unfriendly way of talking. I came to see him, he wasn’t around. I was standing there like a lost puppy. One of the guys noticed, asked me who I was looking for, I said Rick. He looked for him but didn’t find him either. I went outside and saw my car, but there’s no Rick anywhere. Then I saw him talking to someone in the car to check in. IS IT NORMAL TO MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS WAIT LONG CAUSE YOURE SOMEWHERE ELSE? I’ve never experienced that before! Anyways, I had to call him out and waved to him to get his attention for him to remember to come back to his desk to help me! Again, I’ve never had to do this before!!! Then when he came in, he talk to this old lady (in Spanish) so I just looked at him then he realized he has to help me first. So he went back to his desk and start tapping keys. There was not even a single apology that came out from his mouth, nothing! Instead, he asked me for my name. Ok, that never happened before! I mean seriously? Everyone who had help me previously never treated me the way he did. He told me the amount, I paid him and he gave me my change and receipt and said. Ok. I’m like ok? He said yah, your car is outside. I said, where’s my keys? He said in the car. There was NO THANK YOU that came out of his mouth, nothing! What kind of training did this one get? He needs to be send to class and get train! I’m sooooo disgusted!!!
Made me think, was it because my car is old and so he thinks he can just treat me so rudely? I love you car and have been advertising HONDA to my friends and relatives, (I even let them test drive my car and they love it) and because of me, they all own Honda cars! Even my sister who used to drive a BMW, drives a Honda now! I do it because I love Honda cars and I am always truthful to people, helped Honda sell more cars eventhough I don’t get anything from doing it! So now I’m being treated this way? Hell no! If I have to tell everyone how your customers service treated me, you will lose some business. I am still fuming mad about how i was treated yesterday. If this Rick guy is new, retrain him! If he has been there for awhile, then you got a problem! If you want to speak with me, please leave me a voicemail message if I don’t pick up cause I might be at work. I can always call back.
