I had a 10 o’clock appointment yet it took more than 10 minutes to get me checked in and it didn’t look very busy. Staff was standing around while I waited in my car. I wasn’t very happy with this lack of customer service. If I didn’t have an appointment, I guess I wouldn’t have had such an issue. Why make an appointment then?

I recently brought my car in for maintenance, and I want to recognize the woman who checked me in. She was very friendly, welcoming, and made the drop-off process easy.
However, my experience during pickup was disappointing. She was no longer at her desk, so another representative assisted me. He simply handed me my paperwork, told me the total, and that was it. There was no explanation of the work that had been completed, no review of the inspection results, and no effort to ask if I had any questions about my vehicle.
As a customer, I would have appreciated a brief walkthrough of the service that was performed and the opportunity to ask a few questions before leaving. Instead, I felt rushed and had to read through the paperwork on my own afterward to understand what had been done.
Overall, the maintenance itself may have been completed well, but the customer service at pickup did not match the excellent service I received when I dropped off my vehicle. I hope Honda can improve the communication and customer care during the pickup process so every customer leaves feeling informed and valued.
