I appreciate your team taking the time to contact my 3rd party extended warranty company and ensure that I only had a small deductible. Your team went to bat for me when the warranty company balked at the price of parts, he spoke with the management and explained Hawaii part prices and this led to the company accepting the prices and not having them passed on to me. I was kept in the loo as to the progress of the repairs and was very satisfied with the work ! Mahalo !

I was at the shop 2x. The first time I waited for almost 8 hours to have my car partially fixed. Then I was told to come back because they had to order the parts. I waited 3 1/2 hours at the second visit. I had to take off 2 days for my car to get fixed. I live in Waimea which is a couple of hours drive to and fro. Stephanie was helpful but she can only do so much. My husband and I have 2 Subarus. Hopefully, this doesn’t happen again ( ie, the next time I bring our car to you for repair.

We brought in car for second and final safety inspection for Vehicle registration and since we were in shop and realized tire rotation has not been happening with oil changes we requested the rotation as well. We left keys and waited on site at picnic table-anticipating 30-45’ appointment. We were not given a time estimate at check in. 2 hours later we got up from picnic table to inquire as expected completion time. We were told “oh it’s ready it’s been out in parking lot for some time.” When we asked “Do you typically call our phone or make announcement or check at waiting area?” we were told “Yes we do that.” Period No apology or explanation... As to why we had NOT received a call or visit at the table. So many interactions with your staff are professional and courteous—these kind of basic oversights in customer service interactions leave us feeling like our business is just taken for granted. . I know we have no other choices on Big Island BUT a genuine apology or explanation after we have just sat there wasting our time would go a long way toward us feeling as though you genuinely care and appreciate the fact that we come to you for our vehicle’s service needs. Personally, we genuinely like and appreciate the counter staff —and we don’t believe anyone intentionally overlooks these things BUT these small interactions that leave us feeling overlooked and/or taken for granted add up. Please let me know your thoughts on this—-what can you do to have us feel better about continuing to bring our car to your place of business?

I made an 8:00 am appointment. Was there on time. Waited for a while, walked 15 minutes to a doctor appointment, and returned at about 10:15 to find my car had not been moved from the parking space in which I had left it. I asked why I had made an 8 am appointment time and the response was "oh, that is just a drop-off time." I have never heard of such a thing. I didn't get my car until almost noon, and only then because someone pulled the mechanic from behind the building and told him to get my car done.
