I brought in my Van. This is the second time we have had issues with Goudy. I brought it in to get a B1 service and there was a problem with the rear AC unit. The service rep called and said the part had to be ordered. I told him I thought we had bought an extended warranty but we purchased the Honda from Pasadena. If we had it, it would be in the car, but the car was in the service department so I couldn't check. He said he ran it and couldn't find it. Anyways, the part didn't come in time so I didn't have my van all weekend. He was courteous enough to give me a spare SuV. I told him when I picked up the spare SUV that the extended warranty was likely in the van. Again he said he would look for it. I got a call today saying that car was finished. I went to pick up my car and paid the $1700 bill. Then I went into the van and found the extended warranty. I go back to the service dept and he says you should have given this to me before. Then he calls the extended warranty and it turns out that to be covered the car had to serviced at Honda of Pasadena. I then call Honda of Pasadena as ask if the warranty can be released to Goudy cause the work has already been done and that response from Hpnda of Pasadena is pending. It seems like there is the goudy centric way which is charge the customer irregardless of the extended warranty or the rules that Honda has about extended warranties and then the customer centric way which would be to figure out if the work should really be done at Goudy versus telling the customer that since there might be a warranty the work may need to done at Pasadena. Furthermore I'm told by Honda of Pasadena that they usually call the other dealer and get the warranty to be released prior to doing the work. Now I paid close to $1400 to Goudy for something I had extended warranty at Honda of Pasadena and I'm stuck with trying to get the warranty released retroactively. Thank you again for your help. I'm sorry to say but I tried giving you a second chance after last time this car was serviced.
