Took my van for airbag recall, they proceeded to do a courtesy inspection without informing me. Alex called me saying several leaks were found and engine mount bracket was broken. Funny thing, there are no spots on my driveway. I told him we had our own mechanic who could take it to. Alex proceeded to say my vehicle was unsafe to drive and I would have to sign a waiver in order to take my van. That made me uncomfortable, I felt he was using a scare tactic to pressure me into having $2,900 worth of work done.

When I first arrived, no service attendant approached me. I waited by my car for a couple minutes before someone finally called another person to ask if I needed help. I did like that she broke down the information and kept in contact with me throughout the process. I did not like that even after the inspection could not find the problem with the car until they decided to duplicate a key which did not solve the problem. They finally fixed the issue and called me to pick the car up. When I arrived, the service attendant was on lunch and there was no one to explain the problem and I was getting charged for an extra key that was not needed. They lost my original key and said “I never gave it to them.” When I drove off the lot, they called me again stating they found the key and wanted me to go back.

Daniel greeted me right when I pulled up to the service drive and was very helpful and even gave recommendations for following service appointments. The worse experience ever. It felt as if they were doing me a favor by looking at my car, even though I purchased it there. The advisor wanted me to come in on Fridays because that was when his service tech would be in to fix the issue. I offered other days that I can go in due to my work schedule, and he said no only Fridays. I got upset and had my husband call. All of a sudden someone else was available on another day to fix my car issue.
I am not a person to complain, and maybe my car purchase at Goudy doesn’t mean anything. However, and with all due respect, we all live busy lives and having to take time off work for car issues, (especially a new car) and feel that the service received is less than par calls for a bad business deal. I won’t be coming back to Goudy nor refer anyone to that location.
