We brought our Ridgeline in for an oil change about 2 weeks after the "maintenance required soon" alert came on. It said oil life was at about 10% when my husband came in he was snarkily told he was there too early that oil changes were due at 6k miles. Also found out that the egr valve that was ordered back in August was in but we were never told. I have been dealing with a check engine light on and off for over 4 months. That also means no remote start most of the time. Between that fact and his attitude about the oil change I most likely will be driving from caledonia to Fox or Crown for the next service. Having a check engine light on a new vehicle was crap enough but thingshappen. I gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt and figured the part was on backorder or something and didn't want to pester about it. Being there today and knowing how long we have had the issue I was disappointed they didn't offer to try to squeeze us in to fix today. I will get to wait even longer dealing with this stupid check engine light unnecessarily. And had his attitude been better and not a jerk about the oil change it would have been completely different.
