After having countless services done over the years at Saratoga Honda, I was disappointed to be charged $18.00 for a requested favor - to change the oil and filter in my vehicle with spare Honda oil and filter I had in my possession. The car was already on the lift for another service that I was paying for. I know that it takes only about ten minutes to unscrew and oil filter and remove the drain plug, reinstall both and then pour in 5 quarts of oil. So that’s an hourly rate of approximately $108. I anticipated a charge of $5 or $10 for the inconvenience, or maybe no charge at all. But certainly not $18.00.

I had received a complementary extended car wash due to a mistake that the Honda team made last time I brought my car in. Upon arriving I asked how long it would take for just the car wash and she said an hour tops but she should have me out of there sooner than that because I had to get home and get my kids off the bus. It did take the full hour which was OK I still made it home in time. however when I got home and looked over my car there was still dirt and dog hair under my seats, in the sides and basically everywhere you can’t see unless you lift the mats. My windows still had smudges all around the edges. It was pretty clear that they just wiped the middle quickly. I have purchased the extended car wash there before, soon after I bought my car and I was so happy with the service my car looked excellent. I was expecting the same service this time and I was very disappointed.
