I went in for the Standard Oil change, which, I get it, it's already going to be a bit overpriced. Thereafter however, your sales associate, informs me that I need a bunch of work done on my car. The serpentine belt needed to be replaced, the spark plugs as well. The most immediate was the serpentine belt, which he quoted me a price of $320 for parts and repair. I told him let me think about it, and I called an independent mechanic about a mile away from your dealership. The price he quoted me all together, for parts and repair was $93. This is absolutely ridiculous. I realize that the dealership you're always paying more for parts and labor, but this is a 300% price gouging increase. It's laughable. The sad thing is, I think this is designed from the top down, your modus operandi, you give the impression that it's absolutely vital that the work is done right then and there, that it's dangerous for the client to drive away, and perhaps through that fear, they pay these ridiculously excessive prices for even the simplest of repairs. How do you guys sleep at night?
