I’m satisfied with the job completed on my car, but here’s some notes about my experience of checking in and out. I’ve been there before, and last time we determined the number on file was not correct so I had it changed. This time when I gave my phone number it was the same issue- why was it not updated last time? Also, when I left last time I was told I had $12 credit on my account that I could use for the next time. So this time I wanted to use it. Instead of being told I had a credit, I had to ask about it and was told “let me check on that for you.” Part of the process of checking in should be the rep telling the customer how much rewards is available for use on that transaction.

Mike was not the problem and went out of his way to take care of me. In a nutshell, I ordered a part for my truck. Was called by parts on Friday and told it was in. I ask if I could come in tomorrow and get it installed. I was told to come in Tuesday morning since Monday was a holiday. Showed up Tuesday and service said they were appointment only. Earliest was in a week at a time I couldn’t make. It was only 2 bolts holding the part on. They said they couldn’t help me. Which is fine because it’s getting time for a new vehicle and customer service is important. Well I took it over to mike and he was able to get it installed while I waited along with my sensor light. Thank you mike for taking the time to give good customer service. And thank you to the mechanic who was able to change a part held in by two bolts without making it seem like you are installing a new transmission and maybe could get to it in a week.

I dropped my car off at 10am, didn’t get any communication the entire day that wasn’t initiated by me. By the end of the second day I still hadn’t gotten a detailed description and cost for what needed to be done. Over the phone he said around $1000, then said $850 plus tax and then finally $750 plus tax. I felt like I wasn’t get a straight answer and felt it was odd the price could change so much. I ended up picking up my car without having Raceway do the work and got stuck with a $130 bill to get my keys back. Still not working. I have found another mechanic who is treating me fairly and was considerably less; especially considering I had already been fleeced out of $130 at your dealership. I was a first time customer, completely underwhelmed by the experience and will not be back.

Came in for a service indicator reset. Apparently it wasn't reset at my last service at Raceway. Might have been annoyed to have to come back to reset it but since I needed a recall steering wheel bolt installed, turned out to be no trouble after all. I loved the in and out in 15-20 minutes. Thanks Raceway.
