I brought the car in for a possible transmission issue which turned out to be a misfire issue which is fine. I was then presented with a quote to fix the grille shutter. I understand that it is broken due to an impact that happened over two years ago. But when asked how that is causing a misfire I feel like the answer given was very disingenuous. It was suggested that possibly the car is getting hot and causing a misfire. Why am I not having overheating codes or issues? Why does it do it when it’s cold? The answer to that was because it hasn’t been that hot lately so maybe it hasn’t been an issue yet. I was not satisfied with that answer nor was I comfortable with spending that much money on something that you could it guarantee me was causing a misfire. The concern of a misfire was not troubleshot. I called and left a message for Alan at 3:30 on Tuesday 1/25 stating that I wanted to come pick the car up. I did not receive a call back. I called the main service line around 5:00 on the same day, left a message and got no call back. I had to call in on Wednesday morning to speak to someone about picking the car up. The fact that I was not called back was extremely frustrating. I will likely not be using Raceway Ford for service in the future.

When picking up my vehicle it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. I am not a smoker so I take extreme offense when someone smokes in my car. AND while the battery was replaced, my start stop is still not working.
