I had to return my truck for additional work associated with the original work. My truck now also has a noticeable tick, tick, tick, sound that was not present before this work was done. To me it sounds like a valve lifter/rocker arm may be having an issue. The work that was just completed involved the shop removing the valve covers. I’m now worried that there will be some issue resulting from this new sound. I mentioned it at the time of original pick up after this work, the mechanic took a drive with me and then told me that the sound was likely due to them forgetting to install some shielding which was one reason I had to come back for them to complete the service? The shielding is now installed but the sound still remains. I don’t drive the truck a lot during winter so i’m worried if there will be a problem that I will be left wth some large repair bill on top of the two recent large bills I have paid for this truck. Hopefully the dealership will place these comments in their files and back me shoul a problem developer in the next two years
