I’ve been bringing my vehicle to your location for 3 years now for maintenance and oil changes. I decided to bring my other vehicle, a Lexus GX460, in for an oil and filter change. I conveyed to your service rep that I did not need tire rotation because I just had it done one week ago. He agreed and understood that a vehicle that just had tire rotation completed a week ago does not need to undergo tire rotation again a week later. When the service was complete, he noticed that the techs had performed tire rotation and he claimed that he forgot to tell them or put a sign up for no tire rotation. He also explained to me that it is your policy that ALL vehicles always get tire rotation with an oil change. I told him that I bring my other car, a Lexus IS350 lC for an oil change all the time, but because it has staggered wheels, the tires do not get rotated and the service rep usually takes $20 off the oil change. He basically said that the tire rotation doesn’t really do anything to the vehicle so no harm no foul, see you next time.
