The transmission thing has been an issue with the ford cars for a while now and every one knows about it. When I got the escape I thought it would be better but after 87,000 miles on a 2016 Ford Escape my transmission went out unexpectedly and a new one was $6,500. Well no one has that just sitting around so I had to fight it and the ford company only paid $2,500 of it and left me with $,3,800. Still a bunch of money. So I did talk to them and thanks to a sales rep and the owner they did pay an additional $500 of the bill and it was down to a total of $3,300. Still a lot but they did what they could and I was very thankful of it. I love my car, hate that it died so soon but I love the way it drives. Thanks again to Gary Crossley Ford for doing what you could it runs like it should now.
