Told the person at the desk who checked the car in that my battery light came . Also told the lady who called me while my Escspe was being worked on and again that it was finished. She said they couldn’t find anything. As I drove away from Sutton Ford within a mile the battery light came on again and stayed on til I got home I have been checking YouTube tonight and it says my battery probably isn’t charging sufficiently. It is a real challenge for me to get my car to your shop and mentioned several times for them to check that light while it was there.

My car was towed to Sutton Ford because the key fobs didn’t open the door as stated on my receipt. Was told that the fobs needed to be reprogrammed. I was quoted a price of $150 for the keys. Was told on a previous visit, that I needed a transmission flush, so I decided to do that in addition to the keys. Total price for the keys and flush was $378 total. I agreed. Was called later and told that in order to find out what else was wrong, I needed a diagnostic test. DID NOT AGREE TO THAT!! However, once a new battery was installed, both keys worked and the car ran well. Therefore a diagnostic test wasn’t needed since the battery cleaned up the problem with the key fobs. ( my only request ) But I was charged for the diagnostic test which in my opinion, wasn’t done or needed since the new battery solved the issue with the key fobs. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2007, but charging me for something I didn’t need, makes me reevaluate my opinions regarding the techs. Being charged for the diagnostic test, made it difficult for me to get the transmission flush I really needed which would’ve cost me an additional $178 plus tax. I asked to receive a copy of the test, and was only given a receipt. I felt, and still feel that I was taken advantage of. I have no problem paying for services received, but I have an issue with being charged for something after realizing all I needed was a new battery. Hope I explained how I feel.
