I was originally quoted full price $250 to replace a flat tire. I purchased tires from Longo approximately 1 year ago so they are under warranty. I provided the new quote of labor + tax only after I asked about the warranty. I have a long history of taking my car to Longo for service so I find it disconcerting that my history and account were not checked prior to receiving the estimate of costs. When a customer checks in, the VIN is recorded and their history is readily available so I don’t see how the service rep wouldn’t know that I purchased tires there within the year. Secondly, I was quoted an original wait time of 1.5 hours. I agreed to wait and after over an hour was told that the tire wasn’t in stock. I got a loaner with the promise that my car would be ready by end of day as someone was sent to pick up the tire from another location. I was called hours later and was told that Fedex did not deliver the tire and it would now be delivered the next morning. I received the call that my car was ready after 3pm today. The lack of prep and transparency throughout this experience has been disappointing to say the least.
