Valet service was slow for drop off and pick up car. The wait for a service manager was over 1/2 hour. Is that normal?

I particularly appreciate that Jim took the time to call me after hours to answer a concern regarding my car. I had sent an email and received an auto reply that he was on vacation. Apparently he saw the email before he left for his vacation and called. He walked me through a solution to my issue.
