I currently have 2 cars with Lexus and normally when I am at Lexus, all service representatives that I had experienced were very friendly, always came to provide updates and letting me know how it was going and how much longer it will be. If it took longer than expected, they would let me know so I do not have to wonder what was going on. I do not know if it was because they were really busy that day, but the only time I saw the sales rep was when I first sat down to let him know I came for maintenance. I was sent notice via text, that they are doing service and they were done and car will be ready in 15 mins. Even then it took longer and I think it was cashier who called for me and I probably saw the rep for half a minute? I think the guy in front getting cars back to customers was the one who explained the delay that it was because they were really busy that morning and they apologize for the delay and will find out why my car was still not at the front. It may have been because of all my experience with all the previous reps, but I did not care for the experience this time. And I would prefer not to have this service rep for my future services.

1) explain the service being provided, and approximate amount of time it will take
2) once the service is provided, let the customer know the outcome. Go over the inspection report with customer.
3) General courtesy and politeness would be appreciated. Curt responses and admonishing tones are not.
