Hi this is Felix. I purchased my brand new Toyota Yaris iA back in November of 2017 at longo Toyota and am still very satisfied with that purchase. However, I'm now starting to see some minor issues in the car which is typical since the car has about 160k miles on it. I recently came in to longo to drop my car off for a diagnostic to see what maintenance or repair is needed to keep my car in optimal shape and after the analysis with a certified Toyota technician, it has been determined that there is a torque converter issue that shudder when driving uphill. Albert Lopez was an outstanding assistant and have suggested that I needed to change the whole transmission which is something I'm confused with because on paper, the data indicated that there is in fact a torque converter issue which can be replaced with replacing the whole transmission or transaxle that cost nearly 7k. In contrast, the torque converter on the longo Toyota parts department website cost roughly around $850. Please call me back because I need to resolve this matter as soon as possible. I need the expertise and experience from you guys. Your prompt attention is greatly appreciated. ****-****-xxxx
