Last week, I found my Rav4's front windshield was cracked so I contacted the customer service to ask this issue. An agent who can speak Mandarin contacted me soon and told me that I need to send my car to Longo on next day, and someone would inspect it then repair it for fee if it was not damaged by something else. I thought it was cracked itself so I delivered the car to Longo next day. The agent named Jefferey told me the one who can inspect it was not here by the time, and I need to wait it until next Thursday(12/13/2018). I was surprised because the representative who talked to me by phone didn't told me that the worker who can inspect it would not here and I need to wait a week. I was worried about if I wait a week, the cracking would become more seriously and other things might happen. However, Jefferey told me that don't be worried because he and another agent had checked it, and they also think it was not damaged by others. They told me it should be repaired by Toyota for free.I trusted them and ask Jeffery took some pictures to prove if it was necessary. He did that action and I went home. But today, when I came back to Longo, Jeffery and his manager who named Mathew or something told me it was damaged by others and I need to repair it by myself. He didn't send the picture which he took last time and said no matter was impossible. I felt it is not my fault because they didn't inspect it in time, and after the situation was getting worse they "identified" a very tiny scar or something caused the cracking so it was not their case. Is it fair? I need you give me a resopense and tell me how to resolve it. I may also report it to BBB or other places.
