We were without our vehicle for over 3 days. Each day we were told it was going to be ready. Each time there was a problem. We don’t have another vehicle, so we were without a vehicle for that time. When we asked for a loaner none we’re available. I know it wasn’t Andrew fault, but the service department was baffled about what was wrong with the car. Needless to say that was a concern. We had to wait to leave on a trip with some friends. I think it could have been handled a whole lot better. We are thinking that we should take it to another dealership next time. Alittle more communication would have gone a long way. Keeping the car almost 4 days for what was done to the vehicle, was unacceptable.

Jennifer did a great job with my service. She communicated every step of the way. She was friendly and professional. I was disappointed my truck was not washed after my oil change and front brake replacement services. I thought it was typically customary to have the vehicle washed when serviced.

Excellent customer service! I tried getting my car serviced at another dealership, but was unable to talk to someone over the phone. I would always get an answering machine when I called. M.K. Smith had the part I needed and was able to schedule my recall service right away! They even provided me with a vehicle, so I could get to work the next day! Jennifer Hunt was friendly, helpful, and professional!

The only thing is I have always gotten my car washed when I come in for service and this time it wasn't. They said I had to ask, but I have never asked in the past. So only thing I was bummed about since I have a trip tomorrow and no time to wash it now.

Below is the email I sent to MK smith customer service. I have yet to have my issue resolved: I would like to let you and the service manager know that overall I am not satisfied with my experience. I will start by saying that Dwayne in parts was very helpful over the phone and Andrew was courteous and professional on the day of my service. I bought my Nissan Altima used from MK Smith in May when I traded in my Chevy Cruze. You had sent me an email a few weeks ago asking to schedule service on my Vehicle as I have an extended warranty and a Tire maintenance/replacement package. I called to make an appointment as I had 2 service lights on in my vehicle, one of which was for tire maintenance. I was told that since my car was a Nissan I would have to take it to a Nissan dealer to have any work done other than an oil change. I called the Montclair Nissan dealer to schedule maintenance and they told me they could not help me as I didn't purchase the vehicle from them. So my car sat in my driveway with a completely flat tire for 3 days because I was getting the run around from MK Smith and Nissan. I put the spare on my vehicle myself so I could get to work and back. I was finally able to get somewhere when Dwayne helped by calling the Nissan dealer to make sure he ordered the right tire and I was able to finally schedule service. My appointment was at 7:30am on Friday. I waited over 1 1/2 hours for them to tell me that they were not going to replace the tire but patch it. Andrew was kind enough to wave the $25 patch fee but I didn't see that as a bargain since I though I was getting a new tire from my warranty. When my vehicle was ready I got in my car and the service tire light was still on! When I alerted Andrew he told me that I would have to go to Nissan or Americas tires to have the codes reset as MK Smith didn't have a compatible reader. I hope you can see my frustration on getting the run around between the dealers just for a tire. I can't even imagine the hassle I will face when something major breaks on my car. I am extremely regretful that I bought my car from your company and I will also be contacting the Sales Manager. I had many many problems with my Cruze and I thought this would have been the end to my car headaches. I feel like I have been misled by the warranty package that I bought and paid a lot of money for. I would be extremely appreciative if we could come to an agreement on who (MK or Nissan) is obligated to do work on my vehicle for in the future. I have filled out every survey I have ever received from MK Smith and I have yet to receive a call or email response over the last 4 years. I thank you for your time and hope that there will be no further problems in the future.
