Allowingto pick up their car and not first checking to make sure everything was our back together first is pretty unacceptable, I got in that car with my son and left the lot to find out I didn’t have brakes because a vacuum line “fell off”.

When I dropped my 2020 Chevy Traverse off, I asked about the complementary first oil change. I was told that it will have to be verified that this was my first oil change. Now this protocol may be true, however, the consumer should never be told this. It gives the appearance as though you think the consumer is lying. Not to mention the mileage on my vehicle alone should have proven that it was the first oil change. I have lived long enough to know that had I been a different race or gender I would not have been told that to my face and the demeanor to which he said it, even if that was the protocol. Secondly, after the service rep checks the system he tells me the complimentary oil change for my vehicle has expired.... My vehicle is a 2020 Traverse, your website advertised all 2019 and 2020 Vehicles would receive a complimentary oil change and car wash. It wasn’t until I told him that I would take my vehicle to another dealership to get the service done where I “know” the complimentary service hadn’t expired that he tells me he will have to get his managers permission. Two minutes later he comes back and tellS me about all the recalls and his management approved the first oil change to be complimentary. My question is why wasn’t I offered this information upon my arrival when he first inspected the vehicle? I didn’t appreciate the tone or his lack of professionalism when I first arrived.
