I am not pleased with the service Chris Montag provided. I felt he was demeaning & made sly unnecessary comments. When I got there, Chris said they can only do the maintenance service when it’s at 15%. I informed I was there before when it was at 40% & a staff said I will have to come back around 20-30%. I obliged as I was following the maintenance schedule. When I told. Chris about my previous visit, he said that staff told me wrong. He went ahead and accepted my vehicle. I told him I’m not in a rush since I may not be back after 4 pm. He said to make sure to be back by 4:30 as they close at 5 pm. I told him the website shows 6 pm. He points at the sign on the door & says 5 o’clock. I left and returned before 4. Again assisted by Chris. I inquired about the loyalty program from the website & he said every other service is free (which I knew about this as I have another car purchased from Hardin) . I inquired more details about the description on the website and commented that it seems misleading as it does not say every other service is free. He than made a comment, no one else found it confusing. I do not appreciate Chris’s sly remarks. I left very unsatisfied with tis service. I had another encounter with him from another time & he was not helpful and directed me to see another staff who was helping me a few days before. I returned to Hardin to purchase my 2 nd car because I was very satisfied with how I was treated as a customer. Unfortunately, the poor customer service from Chris dampened my experience. I hope my future experience will be different & would prefer not to be assisted by Chris in the future.
