Our Pilot is almost 10 years old. It has NEVER seen any mechanics, but the ones at HARDING HONDA! We are given prompt, courteous, service,EVERYTIME! They never lie or push. They give us the straight line on our vehicle! Which is why, it's coming back,when it does need the service, the writers told us it will need. And they have been doing it,for 10 years. If I buy a car again, I will definitely come here first.

Worst service. I took my car for oil filter change and battery replacement. Hi went home with a car that’s alarming while driving. The service messed up my alarm. As I switch from Park to Reverse, the alarmed gets activated. Cezar tried to fixed but he was not successful. He told me to bring the car home and bring it back on Monday since there is no tech that can look at it. I told Cezar that I needed a car to go to work and I cannot drive an alarming car. I will be stopped by a police. I asked Cezar if Honda can cover a car rental since Honda messed up my car. Cezar said, Honda does not cover that. We went in circles as Cezar was insisting for me to take my car home and i said I need a car to go to work. Cezar mentioned that if a patient in the hospital has issues, they stay overnight. I told Cezar that I work in the hospital, as a matter of fact a Risk/Patient Safety Director. I told Cezar if the hospital messed up a patient, we will fix the problem right away and will cover the cost of the procedure to fix the issue. Not like what he is suggesting, let me suffer all weekend without a car. I asked to speak with a manager, Cezar told me that Matt is on vacation until 8/27/22. I asked who covers for him, Cezar said no one. I went to Service to ask to speak with a manager or Director, they said no one covers for Matt on that side since it is a different department. I walked away and told them that it is a bad service. Andy from Sales followed me to my car and ask what is the problem and I told him. Andy’s voice as he was dealing with me was loud and demeaning. He even said “Hellooooo!” I told him to stip helping me if he continues to talk to me lime that. I told him that we can communicate in a calm manner. He denied saying “Hellooooo!” and started talking in a calmer voice. Andy grabbed another guy to help out. Removed the fuse for the honk. Another guy from service showed up and warned them that removing the fuse will affect other functions since it is programmed to secure the car. Andy did not listen and went ahead relove the fuse. They made me try to move the car, i could not switch the gears from parking. They did not believe and tried it. They put back the fuse. They told me to take drive the car around to see if it fixed the issue. When I switch from parking, the alarm was activated. , I started to drive the car and it alarm as I speed up. I stopped at the parking lot, Andy and the other guy came. They advised me to take back the car on Monday. I told them again about my issue about needing a car. They insisted that Honda doesn’t cover a car rental. I asked if I bring back my car on Monday if it’s guaranteed that it will be fixed, they said no since the alarm was installed more than 10 years ago. They will recommend to bring it to a stereo installer. I asked if the cost will be covered by Honda since they messed up my car, they said no. I took home my car and it alarmed twice while driving and I have to stop to reset it as it was so embarrassing and I don’t want a police to stop me and think I stole the car. I don’t know if the Manager or the person reading this will do something about this. Has Honda considered keeping standard operating procedures / troubleshooting procedure for a service done by outside vendor such as the alarm which by way the offered by Honda and installed in hardin Honda before I took home the brand new car? The alarm service discontinued 2 years after I bought the car according to one of the guys that tried to help out. Should there be a handover from the vendor to Honda on how to fix the alarms when their contract was discontinued? Again these are just ideas to think about from process improvement perspective which by the affects customer experience and satisfaction.
