I do not want to be contacted by Mike Tran at all. During the discussion, I don’t think he is expert in providing his service. I called in before I brought my vehicle in and was told if problem was diagnosed within 30 min., it is free. I asked him about this in person again and he said there’s no such thing. After I left my vehicle at the dealership, I called to your service department again, and was confirmed if problem was found in first 30 min., it is indeed free. Later, I got the call from Mike and been told the vehicle was ready and I need to pay $170, he said the diagnosis was more than an hour! I know you can use a machine to read the problem code for an engine light due to I used to have Toyota Avalon and did bring it to other auto shop for such issue, too. A dealership needs to spend more than an hour to find out it was the gas cap issue shows how lack of profession and your ability to find out root cause in a timely manner is really poor. I felt the entire transaction with Mike is full of dishonest. I’ve always brought my Prius to Piercey for maintenance and bought extended maintenance at your site due to my previous satisfaction. But today’s disappoint experience is really pushing me away from your dealership as I do not believe a credited dealership like you need to spend more than half an hour to find out it was the gas lid to cause the engine check light.
