The service was nice but the timing was bad I had to wake up at 6 to come at 730 am and I had to wait 2.5 hours I mean really.

I made an appointment last week, specifically stating I wanted a leaking shock replaced. The Leakage was noted on the repair order of my 25k service, recommending replacement.
When I came in yesterday for my scheduled appointment. I again stated that the reason for my visit was the shock replacement along with a 30k service.
The service writer Jasvir. /Jazz noted that, and told me it would take 3-4 hours to get the shock replaced since it was a big job.
I was fine with that and got dropped off at the mall. Less than 2 hours later he calls me and says my car is about to done and to pick it up.
I was surprised the job was completed so quickly, because Jasvir said it was a big job. To my disappointment when he called he said that the shock would need to be ordered, and would take a day for delivery. I would need to come back.
I asked if there was any way to get the shock done today, since I took time off of work. He stated that it would had to be ordered and the earliest it would be in is next day, which is surprising because typically many parts can be delivered within a few hours.
I am very disappointed and let down by this. I would have figured the part would have been ordered when I made my appointment on the phone. I specifically stated i wanted the shock replaced.
Furthermore , I then noticed on the work order that Jasvir had "promised" the car back in about 2 hours which leads me to believe that he knew the part was not on hand and had to be ordered. He could have told me this before I left my car to be worked on.
Also, why was I not informed that the shock needed to ordered until the car was ready to be picked up?
I took the day off of work expecting , to have my car serviced and the shock replaced. I took a day off to get an oil change. This situation is huge disappointment.
In general I have had positive experiences with Piercy, but I am very let down by what happened yesterday.
