TJ needs to learn some people skills. He probably shouldn’t be dealing directly with customers until he can manage his anger or emotions. I would never buy a car from you all knowing I had to deal with TJ for repairs or service.

Bell Toyota was my go to place for services and products. Not to mention where I bought my first car. I enjoyed the services provided in the past but today's service was unacceptable and will be my last. I will explore other locations and will not return to Bell Toyota. My service advisor, TJ Ridenour, was extremely rude and condescending. Never had I've been told "Moving forward you must do this and that before you come meet me". Why would you ever speak to a customer in that nonchalant tone. That type of tone is meant for a subordinate not a customer. Not to mention when I told him I had a coupon online from Bell Toyota he wouldn't authorize it and said "Moving forward you should have mentioned it when you dropped off the car". He never added the $10 off coupon because he was already frustrated at having to my computer work and step away to take phone calls like I was a second rate customer. Also why does it take 3.5 hours for a yellow service. All I needed was an oil change and tire rotation. I had a much better service at Camelback Toyota, their service providers never pushed back and made me feel at home. They even honored the coupon I had online. I made the worst choice in deciding to come to Bell Toyota. TJ's behavior, actions, and body language puts a bad image on Bell Toyota and for these reasons I will not be returning here in the future. He was all about trying to upsell me on services but never followed through on putting the customer first. I never had any status updates on my service until it was actually finished.

Called Wednesday to make an appointment for an oil change and Gavin answered. Not really friendly and sounded irritated that I asked for his name so I knew how to address him. Told me about a $59.99 oil change service special that Toyota was running. Told him I was interested in that and only that. He said he made a note and set me up for Friday at 7am with Trey. Got reminder on Thursday for Friday’s appointment. I arrived at 6:30am because I was told it was first in first out and I was going to wait. Cars were coming in and being checked in while I waited in line inside my car. I saw at least 5 cars that came after me and was taken care of before me. At about 10 til as I had been sitting for 20 minutes Tim asked if I had been helped. I said no and that I had an appointment with Trey. He informed me Trey was not there today so Tim helped me. Told him just wanted oil change and fluids checked and topped off. He said no problem. I asked how long he said a few hours. I decided to have him call me an uber/lyft. When I got the report back the amount was more than I was told. Called Tim back and asked him about it. He asked if I had a coupon. I said I did not but Gavin set me up with the Toyota oil change promotion. He said Gavin only set appointments and nothing else. I asked if there was notes in the computer or if anyone communicated with anyone about what a customer comes in for. He said there were no notes and no communication that I had to take it upon myself to let them know why I was there. He said he fixed the invoice and he did. When I went to pick up my car later Tim was not there to help and another service guy checked me out fine. Got the keys and the car and left. When I got home I realized that no one shut the hood of my car and it was making a horrible sound on the freeway on my way home. Thankfully everything seemed to be ok. Then over Wednesday Thursday and Friday I got 4 texts and 4 emails from Sara Chavez in the internet sales department asking if I wanted to schedule a time to look at inventory. I told her I was not interested in anything other than maintenance and was not looking for another vehicle. She was super nice and buttoned all that up for me. So that’s the story. I’ve not been happy in years with Bell Road Toyota may it be because our good service guy was no longer there, there has been a high turnover rate since we do not recognize anyone there any longer and things were always lost in communication or was forgotten. I will not be bringing my 2005 Camry in again. I have a new local and experienced mechanic that I use for my Nissan since Midway Nissan is a joke and sent people back out in their cars when things weren’t fixed properly or not done correctly or whatever the mood of the day is over there. Not looking for a call back from a representative to discuss this. Everything that needs to be known is what I’ve said above and I’m done with it at this point. I’m not interested in having anyone fix anything or make anything up to me or to try to earn back my business because it just won’t happen. Thanks.
