I have had every service appointment done at Mark Toyota since I bought my RAV4 there brand new. I have typically always had great service never an issue. On this particular service my husband asked at check in about a noise he has heard occasionally, and was very rudely told that was not what we were there for. I have never had service like this there before. I have always been asked at check in if there’s anything else needing to be addressed. I understand that it was probably busy but instead of being rudely shut down, we could have been offered to make another appointment to have it checked. Online when I made the appointment there was no way to put in any other kind of request. I also purchased a maintenance package with my vehicle, so things like this would be addressed. Again I have never before had bad service. I’ve always gotten a multiple point inspection report with every other service and I just felt at this service corners were taken to save time and the customer service was not at its best.

I had my 2012 RAV4 in for routine oil change & tire rotation. The appointment I had made 6 months earlier wasn't in the new system but the service rep Briana B got me in anyway. She was very friendly & thorough. I am not a fan of the new protocol of having the mechanic send a video of findings but I reviewed it & approved replacing the air filter. When my car was ready, I left to run errands & noticed the car was running rough. After my stop at the grocery store, the check engine & 4WD lights went on. I drove home to put my groceries away & then drove back to Mark Toyota, after leaving a msg for Briana. It turns out the problem was a hose came unplugged when the air filter was replaced. I would have thought the mechanic would have noticed when driving my car out to be picked up. I am not upset about this, only providing feedback for improvement. I have been a loyal customer since 2014 & plan to remain so as long as I own a Toyota.
