The first service person who met me was a young female. Her desk is the 2nd from the left when walking into the service area. She seemed very friendly. She asked for my mileage. Then she started tapping things on the iPad without talking to me. I Watch and she just clicked things and then told me to sign. She did not discuss what she was clicking or why. This frustrated me. I asked her before I sign could I read everything she clicked. She said it is all part of the service. I wanted a little more of an explanation. She was not rude but I think she needs to understand the values of good communication skills especially when the car service industry doesn’t not have a trusting reputation in general. I am not saying you company is not trusting but when a person just checks a bunch of boxes without communicating to the customer what she is doing, it can lead to some doubt. I assume she then handed me off to the representative to the right of her desk. It was another lady with short hair. She did have good communication skills and came into the waiting room to let me know my care was almost complete. The biggest reason people get frustrated is due to the lack of communication. I think she could benefit if you have a employee video on good communication skills.

I was very impressed with the service I received today. I've been burned by bad businesses in the past to a point that I don't trust anyone with my vehicles (I have 4) and do all my own work. I felt very comfortable with Newbold today. I really appreciate the videos done by the technicians. I've never seen anyone else do that before and it made me feel more comfortable.

Media screen does not automatically switch brightness from day to night. I Identified the problem and was informed it was reset properly so the brightness would change from bright to dark when headlights were on This has not corrected the problem, but just changed from always dark to always bright. The screen brightness at night creates a safety vision problem. If the setting is correct, the component may be faulty and needs replacement.

I went in for a 10,000 mile service check and it ended up taking 2 hours until my service was complete. Multiple staff members said that they ran into “computer glitch issues” and that’s why it was taking so long. However I was the only person to experience these so called issues. Everyone that came in before and after me got their service completed quickly. I was the last one left by far just waiting and waiting. How am I the only one to experience a “computer glitch”? Also, staff would not further explain this glitch. I am almost positive that they just forgot about my car or the computer got rid of my service entirely and when they told me about the issues, they just started to work on my car after noticing me sit there for hours without my car being returned. Not a single staff member apologized about the wait time or inconvenience or cared to explain the real problem. It was an extremely unpleasant experience.
