Serena has a way of making a really bad situation better with her customer service. To be honest, she has actually saved the day twice now for me when I came in very disappointed in how my vehicle was “repaired”. Hopefully, this time my issues will actually be resolved.

You need dedicated individuals to answer calls. It’s impossible to get the service department without hanging up and continuing to call back until someone picks up. The online scheduling is useless, unless you are looking to have your oil changed months in the future. And, I realized just recently, that my next oil change is always 5,000 miles out. My car is light usage, 10k or so miles a year. My oil change interval, according to the manual should be every 7,500 to 10,000 miles, or every 6 months. I’m beginning to believe the service team is just a sales team getting compensated on selling services. These are the kind of things I remember when it’s time to purchase my next vehicle.

I am appalled by the lack of support from Jim Shorkey regarding their product. While the service manager and lead service advisor were courteous, it is unacceptable that they refuse to stand behind their commitments. After purchasing a brand new 2025 Kia Sorento without air conditioning and without a proper PVI inspection, it is disappointing that they wouldn't pick up my car or cover the cost of a rental. Communication was abysmal, and it took months for them to respond. When they finally accepted the car on July 1, I had to demand its return on July 25. At that point, I was informed that two major issues were still unresolved because they needed to order parts. I am frustrated and confused as to why my car sat untouched for 25 days. This entire experience has been completely unacceptable. Other consumers should be warned.
