I recently had an oil change, and i was told that my air filters needed changed. i always agreed with any recommendations grissom makes so i said yes. I was told that one filter had to be ordered and i agreed to come back on another day to have that installed. Upon my return, i asked the attendant if she could have one of them look at my brakes because i keep hearing a grinding noise whenever i step on my brakes. She said that the brakes should have been inspected during the recent oil change and i was told that all my brake pads were very bad and she would have told me that time. I told her i didnt know anything about that or i would have requested to have it changed or repaired. She was adamant that she told me that they were bad, and im sure it was not discussed. When i was trying to explain to her why would i have my air filter changed and not agree to have my brake pads changed, she kept interrupting me and kept telling me “well i always tell my customers if they need the brake pads changed. I talk fast, maybe you missed it” —- i dont understand how somebody can go into great detail about the filters needing changed but skim over brake pads. Ive been going to grissom dodge since 2015, bought 2 cars there, had all my repairs & oil change done there, and never had any complaints until today. I am livid because this has really put me at risk of getting into an accident with malfunctioning brakes. And the rudeness was not appreciated either. I would have been more forgiving of those who take accoubtability and move forward from there. But being dismissive of my concerns and interrupting me is just unprofessional. Needless to say i took my car somewhere else that same day to get it fixed because i started smelling something burning while driving it. I do not wish for anybody to lose their job, but that girl needs to put her attitude in check.
