While waiting for my car to be serviced, I was told by the Service Consultant that the oil filter was stuck to the housing and that I would be responsible to pay for a replacement part if it were to break. I informed the service consultant that I should not be liable or responsible to pay for a replacement part since I had last seviced my car at this same location. On my previous service visit, I was never informed that the oil filter housing was damaged or needed replacement which makes me believe that the technician who performed the oil change on that visit installed the oil filter to tight and therefore damaged the housing. I ended up paying for the housing.
