Counter guy Kao was very nice and professional. Although service dept. was running way behind because of some employee meeting. I would think you would have regular business covered even while conducting meetings or not schedule work during that time. You did give me discount for the long wait, so kind of helped.

When you tell your customer it will be about an hour to perform the service, and so they decide to wait, then finish it in about an hour, not 2 hours. 10-15 minutes late is no big deal, but an hour late is not ok. If you know you need 2 hours, just be honest and say so. I can deal with that much better. Honesty is always the best policy. This was your service department's 3rd strike today. 1st strike was a few years ago when you added a charge for an overpriced key battery. 2nd strike was this past spring when you falsely reported my mileage by an extra 35,000 miles and I my auto insurance premium doubled. Tool me 3 weeks of battling with State Farm to get that fixed. Now this-an extra hour of waiting beyond what I was told. I appreciate the car wash and the little discount for my inconvenience but I'm really going to have to think about whether it is wise for me to keep coming from Chico to get my car serviced with you guys. The first service on this vehicle was with Chuck Patterson here in Chico. They did what you did today- only they said 1 hour and it was 3 hours. Used the excuse that they had mechanics call in sick and were short handed. They knew that early in the morning before I arrived at 11:00. They could have told me the truth and I would have gone home instead of waiting 3 hours. That is why I decided not to go back there and ended us with you guys. It makes your customers feel very disrespected when you guys do things like this. Not cool!

When you ask if the cutomer wants the complimentry car wash, you should tell them it will take an extra 30 minutes. I would have said no.
