Everyone encountered was extremely cordial. Nevertheless, it took half an hour from the time I arrived for my scheduled service before the formalities were concluded. The servicing took 1-2 hours longer than the service managers estimate, but that is probably not unusual for an appointment that began at 10:45 AM. Aside from these two minor issues everything went well

My recall appointment was scheduled 2-weeks prior to at San Bruno Location. I took a day off and dropped my vehicle off to service advisor John Su only to be told 45min later that they didn’t have the part in stock and he ordered it and will take 7 days to arrive. I was very upset and told him how unprofessional his attitude towards me was and he then replied I can take my vehicle to another dealership. You as a large corporation should retrain your whole entire service department (advisors) on what true customer service is all about. I rate my experience with San Bruno Hyundai a 0 and highly likely not to come back nor recommend to any one.

It was all a little confusing. When I made the recall appointment they said it would take an hour. I told them I would wait while the work is being done. I arrived right on time for my 9:15 appointment. I checked in. Someone took my car keys. At 10:00 a representative came and took me to his desk and asked if there was anything else I needed done. I thought my car was finished. He informed me it would be a couple hours. I said I was told it would be one…..then he said they are a little behind. I said then two hours from 9:15 since that’s when I got here. He said I just got your paperwork….. (There is more, but I’m doing this on my phone and I’m clunky punching out on my phone.)

From the moment I dropped off my car in the morning till I picked it up later in the day, Elizabeth was excellent. She listened to the things I wanted the service center to look into. She also actually contacted me later in the day when my car was ready which is something that doesn't happen all the time. Overall, my experience with Elizabeth was great. She has a great positive demeanor and makes you feel comfortable. Moving forward, she will be my preferred service advisor. I appreciate her approach to dealing with her customers. Thanks Elizabeth!
