I came in for a Check Engine light and general maintenance. I was provided with things to waive or not and ONLY approved $121.03 of charges. I came in for general maintenance and to figure out why the check engine light was on. When I came in to pay suddenly there was an additional charge of $165 that I was not expecting per the approved charges. The customer service people didn't care and Patrick thought he was in the right. Basically standing strong on the fact the a test was needed. But it was approved. How do you just do a $165 test without approval and TRY TO essentially up sell me with a true fix that would be another additional charge. I felt taken advantage of and cornered. My car being held hostage. Truly felt taken for a loop.

I was told to power wash the underside of my car before it can be determined if the squeaky leaf spring service announcement fix could be done. At least tell me if my platinum warranty would cover the fix. I understand city regs prohibit washing cars but this is part of a mechanical fix and not a courtesy in my view. It's challenging to keep coming back due to time constraints on my end. Thank you for your time and survey.
