I brought my 2010 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 in because my car was idling rough and the transmission wasn't shifting correctly. I was told that my front spool valve had gone bad and was leaking onto my alternator, causing it to quit functioning properly, which also caused my battery to die. I had them replace the front spool valve, the alternator, and the battery, and do a transmission flush as well. Before I picked my vehicle up, Jordan called me and told me that, in addition to the repairs they had already made, they found a crack in my intake hose. I had them replace that as well. Jordan told me that my EGR valve was also bad, and that I would have to bring it back at a later time because the part was not in stock. I dropped it off two days later to have the EGR valve replaced. I picked it up after hours and found the receipt in my front seat. There is no mention of an EGR valve on this receipt. It stated that they replaced the intake hose, which Jordan had told me they had done the first time they had it. Now, I have three lights on on my dash. The check engine light, the VSA light, and a light with an exclamation mark are all on. In addition to these three lights, my car is still not shifting properly. I spent approximately $3,600 at Kokomo Honda expecting my car to be taken care of and repaired properly, and I feel like that money was wasted because my car is worse now than when I initially brought it in. I will not be returning to Kokomo Honda for anything in the future, and I will be advising others against doing so. With the amount that I spent on repairs, I expected a job well done and for my car to run properly, but neither of those things are the case in this matter.
