Hello! I recently brought my new Lexus TX 350 AWD in for its first complimentary maintenance service. I noticed that the engine oil was not changed, even though the vehicle has already surpassed 5,000 miles.
I was under the impression that the first oil change might be done around this mileage, so I wanted to ask if there is a specific reason it wasn’t included during my visit. Could you please explain Lexus’ recommended oil change schedule for my vehicle and let me know when my first oil change should be performed?

I love the Lexus Service Dept. Of course no one likes to pay for car maintenance or repairs but it is the cost of driving. The Lexus Service Dept treats you with respect, kindness, and friendliness. I can feel their honesty and sincerity and I never feel like I am getting ripped off. O really feel like a VIP whenever I take my old 2017 RX-350 in for service. Joel Goodman is my service advisor. I enjoy talking to him ad he is always friendly and kind. He is a gentle straight shooter and I feel like I can trust him. He is a definite asset to Lexus. My wife has a Volvo. She loves her car but despises their service department. Over there- they are anything but transparent, cocky, and they feel greasy and slick. I keep telling my wife to get rid of her Volvo and get a Lexus but despite Volvo’s shady service department she still loves their cars. Oh well- her loss when she takes her car in for service.
Lexus has my loyalty and all of my future business. Kudos to Joel and the rest of the service department. Great job, Joel and Lexus!

This comment is in regard to the Las Vegas Branch on Sahara ave. and specifically with the service consultant Mr. Henry Montoya.
I brought my Lexus in for a coolant flush, but upon inspection, Mr. Montoya discovered that the service had been done when we replaced the water pump several months back, and was not needed at this time.
His honesty is so appreciated and refreshing in a world that charges for services that are not needed. I look forward to working with him for my next Lexus service need.
