I’ve purchased at least 4 vehicles from Baxter and have had all my servicing on all the vehicles but you have lost me as a customer. I will not do business with Baxter again. I went in for a simple flat tire that needed a plug and put back on my Sequoia and your service department said I needed a new $400 tire. When the flat tire was changed the tow company wanted to fix the flat tire but since I’ve done all my services at Baxter I told them no, that I would take it to the dealership. I left Baxter and went directly to Tony’s Tires and they plugged it, laughed at what your mechanic said, and charged me $30. Can not believe that you are willing to lose a long time customer for a $400 tire. I will make sure that if anyone asks me about Baxter I will let them know about my experience

When I had my car serviced today it was by Nick Smith and Brad Taylor. After waiting a while Brad came to get me to tell me my car was ready—I didn’t receive the normal text message I have in the past telling me my car service check was completed, nor did Brad announce my name like the technician’s typically do to let you know your car is ready. However the price came out to be approximately the same as it usually is, so I signed and paid like I have before since I was told my car was finished and ready to drive off the lot. After this, Brad went to to try to hand me keys that I did not recognize. When I told him they weren’t mine, he was insistant that they were for the car, and said that if I had brought in other keys they may have been in the vehicle. When I went out to the pick up area to look for my car it wasn’t there, so I hit the alarm button on the keys I was given and they were in fact for a different car.
Reviewing the paperwork I was given and had signed, I saw a name that was not mine but was recognizably Indian. I was one of 2 Indian people in the waiting area and Brad had clearly chosen the wrong one of us to get the car to. When I went back in to notify Nick and Brad of this, the previous transaction was canceled and I waited for my actual car to be ready.
It was an incredibly dehumanizing experience and extremely disheartening to experience this kind of racism since I have been coming to this location to have my car serviced for years. It was also very frustrating to have told my technician that they were handing me the wrong keys and then to not have them double check by asking my name or vehicle type or believing me.
