I am extremely disappointed by the service I received with Toyota and Evan.i took in my car for an appointment at 12pm for maintenance, and was told by Evan that it should be no longer than an hour-hour and a half. I was told I’d receive a text to my number when the vehicle was ready, and I asked to confirm the number that would be texted. At 3:40 pm, I still had not received a text, so I decided to text the number, to which they replied “yes it is ready”. When I went in to get my car, Evan gave me a cursory look and said “it’s ready outside”. There was no apology whatsoever for the lack of communication and the 4 hour wait that I had to endure. My partner made a comment about how it took way longer than an hour, to which he got defensive and said he didn’t know why the automated text didn’t send, and was extremely dismissive. I felt disrespected as a Toyota customer here, and that my time was of no value. A simple ownership or apology for not checking in when your customer has not arrived to retrieve their car after 4 hours would have been appreciated. I would not recommend this dealership or Evan’s service to anyone in the future.
