I skd appt for state inspection & oil change . After 2 hours I went looking for my assigned service tech. I asked for an update - it is then he told me I needed brake pad & he was awaiting part dept response. I asked all my brakes need replaced he said no / just one side. I asked you mean just front or back? He said front / I asked how much he told me cost around $530. I said just for brake pads & labor he said yes. I tasked how long will that take since I have now been here 2.5 hours. He said maybe 1.5-2.0 hours. I told him I wasn’t happy about how long things were taking & that he never updated me. I told him go ahead. Then I get a text with cost and it shows rotors were being replaced too. He never mentioned the rotors. During my 3+ hours in waiting room I watched other techs come out & update their customer, review pending costs showing them a cost breakdown on paper? Etc. Never happened with me. Very frustrating.

The issue I’m experiencing was not addressed. I was basically told that this is normal and it’s not an issue. My concerns were disregarded, and the service tech did not seem to care and her body language and attitude seemed as if she didn’t believe me and thought I was making up the issue. She talked over me and made smart comments when I tried to explain how bad the microphones picked up my conversation. This is still an issue after I wasted an entire day of leaving my truck there so I will be using another Toyota dealership for service going forward.
