When I went in for my oil change that is covered by Acura (I bought my 2025 MDX in November and this was my second oil change that is covered by Acura) Tyler tried to tell me that my oil change was not covered and 2023/2024 Acuras come with 4 complimentary oil changes but the 2025s only come with one. When I bought my vehicle I was promised 2 as long as I come back to Frank Leta Acura. When I brought this to Tyler’s attention, he got very frustrated with me and claimed he would do this but was very hesitant. After my vehicle went back, he also tried to charge me $80 to replace my cabin air filter which I declined because I can change it myself for less than $30. When I got home I double checked my air filter myself and saw it was not necessary for me to change it yet contrary to what Tyler pushed. I understand that you must up-charge parts to make money, however it is very frustrating to be treated as I don’t know anything about vehicles because I am a young woman. I will unfortunately be finding another dealership to have my vehicle serviced at after my interactions with Tyler.
