My service appointment to have four new tires and a front-end alignment was made on the Sunshine Toyota tire/parts website. I received a confirmation for 11:30 appt. with my decision to wait while the tires were changed. When I arrived at the service center, I found out that there was no record of the appointment. Additionally, the service staff take their lunch break at noon to 1:00 PM so it would have been a waste of my time to wait for service. Therefore the scheduling program used should not have allowed an appointment at 11:30. The Toyota Courtesy car took me home. Apparently, scheduling on the parts/tire section of the website does not interface with the service dept scheduling.

Unfortunately the same issue I had in past with your service department happened again. Giving an estimate, when you drop the car off, and then calling and giving a quote twenty percent higher and including a service not needed or requested. Previously told, on another car, I needed to replace both tie rods on the car and when informing the tech I have extended warranty coverage thru Toyota they come and say that can only replace one with the warranty. So trying to upsell two when only need one placed. On previous door motor repair told if repair fell under warranty plan wouldn’t have to pay $55 for diagnostic and would be paid by warranty, per tech checking car in. When repair done had a $55 charge for diagnostic test, when informed service tech (same one I had issue with today), that previous tech told me no charge for diagnostics if it fell under warranty repair, her response was “you have to pay it” no checking with tech that checked it in. Repeated service issues and when asking to talk to service manager, response is he is not here today.

Alysa was friendly and professional. She very clearly communicated what was going to happen and how much it cost. I appreciate pictures of the problem areas. Also, I very much liked havibg a loaner car while mine was getting fixed up. While Alysa was amazing and professional, I overheard another desk worker using the f bomb repeatedly. The placard at her desk said Courtney and she had glasses. I am not the type to be offended, we are all adults, but she may want to watch out with that language around the wrong person. Alysa was super kind and professional with her language and I hope that when my car needs repairs again, that I get to work with her.

The responses were not immediate, but I was impressed that my texts were addressed within a day or two because I know auto shops are off the hook busy right now. I noticed them coming in Friday evening and Saturday....which surprised me. I was expecting to hear back Monday or Tuesday, and instead was able to have my service done on Tuesday...which was significantly convenient for me. Thank you.
