The only problem was that I was misinformed and had to bring back my vehicle for a second time. A service tech mistakenly told me that if my check engine light was out that my extended warranty could not be honored. Later I was told that it was all covered.

Second time taking my vehicle there, first time it was diagnosed said I needed abs module, wrong took it elsewhere to get fixed, explained to her. Second time I took a different car for a recall/extended warranty, and again wrongly diagnosed, said I’d need a transmission, wasn’t that. I gave Akins the benefit of the doubt, never doing service here again. Asked to waive the diagnostic fee, she could care less about customer service.

You replaced the transmission. Great. It’s working. But here’s the question that no one seems to want to answer. Should I have to be replacing a transmission on a vehicle that I bought brand new from your dealership and the vehicle has less than 113,000 miles on it that your dealership was responsible for handling the maintenance on said vehicle? I had you guys replace the transmission because you had me over a barrel given this is my only vehicle. You never offered me any sort or compensation for my troubles given that the motor blew up just before it went out of warranty and now this. Is this the sort of product that you’re proud of? Like, really? If that’s the case, I’ll tell you this, given this experience , I’ll never, EVER, buy another Ford ever again. And I’ll also encourage my friends to do the same. Sincerely, Jake Kitchen
