I appreciate the kindness and answering my questions. I arrived at 6:50 not knowing what time Akins opened. I woke up early and decided to head out. When you’re 81, sleeping is often rare. When it was time for Akins to open it was on the dot and everyone was ready. One hour later I received a message saying my Escape had been serviced. I was checked out within a couple of minutes. Add two cups of great coffee to that hour and I chalk it up to a win. I’ve been coming to Akins for years. A blessing!

I do have a Problem though, tonight my check engine light came on. I have done the corrections listed In my manual and still on. The last thing mentioned in the book is to let it sit 8:hours and see if it goes out,

At arrival was greeted quick, explained the need, oil change, tire rotation w/ground force, went into the custom shop, brought my own AMSOIL oil & Filter, service person box with items, service person called needed home address, said maybe 2 hours to complete. Got txt saying bronco was ready, proceeded outside, couldn’t find service agent, another helped, paid with ford rewards, reviewing bill was also charged for motor craft oil and Filter, went back to service agent waiting est 15 mins, service mgr explained he would refund back to rewards - hasn’t happened, service hasn’t been recorded to ford app. Overall fail
