Vehicle sat on the dealer lot for 30+ days (for warranty work) and a simple wash couldn’t be performed prior to customer pick up at the end of this time frame. This is ridiculous. This is not a reflection on the service advisor but rather a reflection on the manufacturer and dealer where the servicing occurred. The customer took the vehicle to a local car wash after picking it up from the dealer due to grime and etching being evident in the vehicles surfaces. Regarding the advisor: The one thing I expected more of was communication. I do not feel that the service advisor reached out to me often enough via phone calls regarding updates on our vehicle. I actually reached out for updates. The other item that made no logical sense was the request for a demo drive with a shop foreman a week or more, after dropping the vehicle off. Considering how long we waited for an appointment to become available, this should have been completed at the time the vehicle was dropped off in our opinion vs later on during troubleshooting or other discrepancy resolution completion

The ball was initially dropped and picking up our vehicle, which was offered after we drive over Thursday and was told due to Helene the service was cancelled, we had to call to get our truck picked up. After that was resolved, everything else went smoothly.
