It was a pleasure dealing with service advisor Vanessa Easley. She kept me updated on the necessary repairs needed and the timeframe when the repairs would be completed. I’ve been coming to Akin’s since October 2000.
All my dealings with Akin’s have been positive. Even though Akin’s is a large volume dealership, they’ve always treated me as if I was their most important customer. Since 2000, I’ve purchased all my vehicles from Akin’s.

The problem was not Bobby. He had gone on vacation and I do believe the service advisor he left my vehicle with was Ashton and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my radio. I called Ashton to let him know that there was actually nothing wrong with the radio That it was a feature that was added with the taser chip that was installed on the Jeep and so they didn’t need to do anything to it. When I came to pick it up they had removed the chip and put it in my cupholder and when I went back in to tell him that they had done that he called the shop foreman and I guess already assumed I was going to be a problem And then the lady service advisor whose name was Vanessa started yelling telling me that it wasn’t supposed to stay in the vehicle and that it fixed the problem when there was no problem

The service team did a wonderful job. Customer service was great. My concern is the significantly high part cost. Other Ford dealerships charge $773 for the same part I was charged $1200 for and I asked for a discount. This part was less than 5 years old and failed. I was told I could not bring in my own parts for liability reasons. However, a factory part that failed in less than 5 years is not very reliable. Part # LC3Z5L248A.
