I brought my truck in for its first service and a safety recall. The parts for the recall aren’t ready yet but your lube tech said he checked the recall. My tires weren’t rotated, the tread depth wasn’t checked but your tech said they were 13/32 when they’re actually 16/32. Your tech also said my psi is supposed to be 29psi and he said they’re all at 29 except factory spec is 30 and my psi is actually at 32. I also get notifications from the Toyota app when my doors have been opened and that only happened once. So it seems to me that all your tech did was love my truck from one side of the lot to the other and didn’t actually look at a single thing.

My service rep was fine, however for several years now I have been paying for oil changes which apparently weren’t needed when I scheduled my appointments. I was told at my 10/14 appt that I was not due for this service and would only need a multi-point inspection which was $50. I had planned for a FREE oil change that day as I was using my 5th punch on my oil change punch card. This is very disappointing to know that I was being charged for services that were not needed. Not once did any service rep tell me oil changes were recommended at 10,000 miles due to synthetic oil. My rep did state that, “the mechanics who previously worked on your vehicle are no longer here, so there’s that.” This statement did not make me feel confident in the service from Toyota Puyallup, so I may be going elsewhere moving forward. Also, I wanted my car washed and was told, “we don’t wash cars on Saturdays due to how busy we are.” Well on 10/14, it was VERY slow compared to prior Saturday appointments that I have had. (there were about 5 people in waiting room). My vehicle has been washed many times on a Saturday unless the machine is broken, which does occur frequently. Anyway, not a good experience.

I had to return the car because there was a clunking sound coming from the rear brakes after having them changed. They gave us a loaner so that was nice.

It is (my Tundra) not a liability in any manner at this point. I will watch it closely and consider another Tundra. I am disappointed over Toyota’s decision to do away with the V-8, but I will still consider one because of the quality I have enjoyed over two Toyota’s; one Tacoma and this Tundra.

I just bought my car and I had to pay for it to get fixed with even the extended warranty. It was a simple switch that needed to be replaced. Not impressed with how much I needed to pay for such a simple fix.

Last two times i have been in for services the windshield washer fluid has not been filled, both times has ran out or shown washer fluid low alert the day after my appointment, first time i shoot the windsheld with fluid. I know its not a big deal but when the report shows that it was filled and it obviously wasnt, its a little irritating. Im paying for a full service and its is not happening. Also this last time i had my truck washed and its about the worst wash job ive ever seen, missed/dirty spots and areas everywhere. Like i said, not a huge deal but if im paying for a service, it should be done through and complete as the paperwork and receipt shows.
