I’m highly disappointed with the recent service experience for my Toyota Land Cruiser. I brought the vehicle in specifically to address a persistent squeaking noise that occurs when reversing. I left it with the service department for five full days, expecting a thorough inspection and resolution.
When I picked it up, I was told the vehicle “never made a peep” during their time with it. I drove it about 20 miles home without issue. However, just 30 minutes later, when we left the house again, the same exact squeaking happened — clearly nothing had been resolved.
I trusted the dealership to take the time they requested to properly diagnose and fix the issue, but it seems like either they didn’t take it seriously or didn’t put in the effort to replicate the problem. Either way, I’m left right where I started after five days without my vehicle.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given the time and trust I invested. I expected better from a Toyota-certified service department.
